The Rainford Goby, also known as the Court Jester Goby or Old Glory, is a small, colorful fish that is well-suited for saltwater aquariums:
· Appearance
The Rainford Goby has a green and blue body with orange stripes that run the length of its body.
· Size
Rainford Gobies rarely grow longer than 2.5 inches.
· Temperament
Rainford Gobies are peaceful and timid. They are generally not aggressive towards other species.
· Diet
Rainford Gobies are omnivores that eat filamentous algae, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and other meaty treats.
· Tank
Rainford Gobies can be kept in a 10 gallon or larger aquarium that is well-established and has live rock and sand. They do best when there is plenty of hiding space and food to graze on.
· Breeding
Rainford Gobies can spawn successfully in an aquarium under the right conditions.
Wild-caught Rainford Gobies can be difficult to adjust to aquarium life and may refuse prepared foods. They can also be shy when first introduced to the aquarium and may become targets for aggressive tankmates
